Some companies do more than keep pace with technological progress – they actively help drive it forward. Demcon is a prime example. The company has exhibited at the Precision Fair for all 25 years of its existence. As part of our anniversary series From the very beginning, we spoke to Barend Vermeulen, Managing Director at Demcon high-tech systems Eindhoven, about increasingly complex systems, the power of collaboration and why the next major technological breakthrough will never be achieved by one company alone.

Demcon high-tech systems will be exhibiting at the Big Science Business Forum 2026, October 27 to 30 at MECC Maastricht. Find us at booth A023.

Within the SENVIDET consortium, Demcon high-tech systems contributes its systems engineering expertise to the development of next-generation sensor technology for the Einstein Telescope. The team supports the integration and positioning of newly developed sensors into the control system that keeps the mirrors motionless.

Demcon high-tech systems is attending the Quantum Sensing Tech Event 2026, organized by QDNL on October 14 at De Doelen in Rotterdam. The event brings together leading European companies, researchers and end-users from across the entire quantum sensing value chain.

From September 28 to October 2, 2026, the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Innovation Attaché Network organize an innovation mission to Dresden and Berlin, Germany. The mission focuses on integrated photonics and advanced packaging. Demcon high-tech systems will be joining.
