The quantum industry is developing rapidly. However scaling from a working prototype to a reliable, manufacturable product remains a major challenge. This phase requires a shift from research-driven design to industrialization, with a focus on reproducibility, system architecture, and production readiness. Drawing on decades of experience in high-tech sectors such as semiconductors, aerospace, and big science, Demcon supports quantum startups and scale-ups in making this transition.

On 20–22 April, we will visit the Advanced Packaging International conference in Brussels, Belgium. The event focuses on advanced packaging technologies that enable the next generation of semiconductor and photonics systems. The conference brings together multiple technology domains, including Co-Packaged Optics and Thermocompression/Hybrid Bonding.

We’re proud to announce that Demcon management & support has officially obtained the ISO 27001 certification, the internationally recognized standard for information security. Although we have long been working in accordance with this standard, the certification marks an important milestone: our structured, consistent, and demonstrable approach to safeguarding information is now formally validated.

Our CEO, Dennis Schipper, was recently interviewed for the latest edition of LINK Magazine. This edition focuses on diversification, a theme that Demcon has always actively worked on and that remains relevant today. In the interview, Dennis shares his perspective on the importance of diversification, both for Demcon and on a national and international level.

We will attend ZIE – the Zuid Hollands Industrie Event, where technological innovation takes center stage around themes such as energy transition, digitalization, and sustainable industry. We will be present to engage with developments in high tech systems, energy transition, semicon, and related domains.

On April 12 to 16, we will attend SPIE Photonics Europe in Strasbourg, France together with Demcon focal. SPIE Photonics Europe brings the global photonics community together to share the latest advances in optics and photonics. This cross disciplinary event covers technologies ranging from digital optics and optical imaging to quantum technologies, sensing, and metrology.
